William R. Black retired as a Major from the United States Air Force in 1991 and entered Law School at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He established his law firm in 1994 practicing estate planning, probate and guardianships, and Trust & Estates Litigation.
Bill prides himself on providing the highest caliber of counseling to his clients with exceptional service, as well as, access to the recognized experts in the field of tax planning through his association with WealthCounsel, LLC.
Bill received an AA in Hotel, Restaurant Management from Saint Petersburg Junior College, a BS in Management from the University of West Florida (cum laude), a MBA from Golden Gate University, and a JD from Nova Southeastern University.
A 25-year veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam and Desert Storm, Bill was selected as the Air Force Systems Command Officer of the Year in 1981. His decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Ribbon with Palm Device for Valor, and the Air Force Commendation Medal.
